Description: Hear from this year's five awardees. The Wise Elder Changemaker Award celebrates San Diegans (65 years or older) who have made a significant difference in the lives of others and/or their community and/or the world at large. We look for community-based changemaking work of all shapes and forms: activism, advocacy, the arts, healing, community weaving, reconnection, land/environment/ecosystem/climate repair, teaching, mentoring, planning, design, organizing, bridge-building, relational rootwork, or any other lifetime of activities that have fostered awareness, understanding, empathy and tilted the world a little more toward greater justice, health, security, equity, resilience, inclusion, mutual care, sustainability, and love.
This year's winners will respond to a series of questions about their change making work before audience questions.
